Troops of 57 Division conducting continuous search and clearing operations in liberated areas uncovered more LTTE arms and ammunition in general area Kilinochchi and Visuamadu.
2 x Bangalore Torpedoes and 10 x Hand Grenades were uncovered by the troops of 6 Sri Lanka National Guard (6 SLNG) while conducting a clearing operation in general area Kilinochchi, military report said.
Meanwhile, 5 Kg of C-4 explosive, 50 x sea mines, 01 x T-56 weapon with magazine and 10m detonator code uncovered in a separate search operation conducted by the troops of 7 Sri Lanka Signal Corps (7 SLSC) of 572 Brigade while conducting clearing operations in general area Visuamadu, the report added.
