Two civilians killed and one injured in LTTE claymore attack - Padaviya

LTTE terrorists carried out a cowardly claymore attack targeting a civilian vehicle in Mahametiyawa , on the Padaviya- Kebethigollawa road, last night (Oct 5).

According to the defence sources, the terrorists exploded two remotely operated claymore mines targeting a mini-truck transporting fishery products around 9.30 PM. Two civilians were killed and another suffered injuries in the explosion.

A search operations has been launched in the area.
