9 bodies of slain terrorists handed over to ICRC-Vavuniya

Security forces Thursday (July 24) handed over 9 bodies of terrorists killed during fighting with troops at the Wanni battlefront in Palaimoddai and Periyamadhu areas to the ICRC officials in Vavuniya.

According to the Army, 4 female fighters were also among the terrorists killed. The bodies were taken by the ICRC at around 12.30 p.m, and will be handed over to the LTTE at the Omanthai Entry/Exit point.
