The two day Asia Pacific e-Government conference will commence in Colombo today. The conference being organized jointly by the FutureGov, Asia Pacific’s leading public sector modernization magazine and the Information and Communication Technology Agency (ICTA) of Sri Lanka will be held at the Cinnamon Grand Hotel in Colombo.
The summit conference named as FutureGov Summit SAARC 2012 takes a comprehensive look at the issues at the heart of information management for the Sri Lankan public sector.
The FutureGov Forum, which has been a critical nexus for public sector IT buyers and solutions providers to learn from one another, will bring together a group of international speakers comprising government leaders, experienced practitioners and industry experts, to deliver a balanced mix of real life best practice case studies, expert presentations and interactive panel discussions.
Secretary to the President Lalith Weeratunga, ICTA CEO Reshan Dewapura, Deputy Chief Information Officer for Business, Planning, Customer Service at the US Department of State Janice Fedak, Acting Chief Information Officer, Department of Child Protection, Western Australia Marc Dimmick, the Joint Secretary of Indian Ministry of Rural Development D. K. Jain and several others are some of speakers at the summit.
