The new Chief Ministers for the North Central and Sabaragamuwa Provincial Councils will be sworn in today (04).

Accordingly the two United People’s Freedom Alliance (UPFA) members nominated as the Chief Ministerial candidates will be taking oaths.

Berty Premalal Dissanayaka will be appointed as the Chief Minister of the North Central Province for the third successive term while Mahipala Herath will be appointed as the Chief Minister of Sabaragamuwa Province.
