The Sir John Kotelawela Defence University is now recruiting students and the deadline for the acceptance of applications is the 9th of next month, Vice Chancellor of the university Major Gen. Milinda Peiris said.
He pointed out that those who have been successful in gaining University admission and who pass at the recruitment examinations will be eligible to enter the University. The age limit is between 18 and 22 years.
The Kotalawela Defence University awards degrees and post-graduate diplomas in various fields including Engineering, Medicine, Law and Management. It is also the only defence university in the South Asian region, he added.
