Over 5, 05000 candidates will be sitting for the G.C.E O/L exam in December said the Examination Department.
The examination is due to commence on the 08th and will continue till the 20th of December.
The National Identity Card is necessary to all candidates and for those who have not reached the age of 16 will have to produce the Postal Identity Card.
According to the department there are over 5700 examination centers island wide.
Although the exam was held in Chennai last year for the candidates who had migrated, but the Department said that it is not necessary to hold such exams this year.
