Negombo to be further developed as a tourist attraction

The centre of tourist attraction on the western coast of Sri Lanka, Negombo is to be upgraded with further facilities to tourists including infrastructure development in the area.

Accordingly the Government has allocated Rs. 500 million to upgrade the existing 73km road system in the area with concrete structures utilizing the funds granted under the ‘Maga Neguma’ project.
