The foreign employment bureau warned yesterday (13) that although advertisements were appearing in the media over Korean language training classes in preparation for examinations by the bureau in April, no such exam will take place.
Chairman of the bureau Kingsley Ranawaka stated that as was previously announced the Korean Government has temporarily suspended new intake and as a result there will not be Korean language examinations until at least next year.
The move to suspend intake came as a result of the global economic crisis and advertisements’ appearing regarding Korean language classes was an attempt to mislead and deceive the public
