The Kokavil television tower will be reconstructed at a cost of 220 million rupees in three phases under the supervision of the Telecommunication Regulatory Commission and after the completion of reconstructing the tower they will be able to provide a better and a wide coverage, Director General of the Telecommunication Regulatory Commission Anusha Pelpita said.The assistance of the Ministry of Mass Media and Information, the security forces in the North and Uthuru Wasanthaya Task Force have been obtained in this regard, he said.
