Around eighty five thousand people have arrived in Jaffna and all hotels in the town are full, it is reported. It is also reported that some local tourists are staying over at the Doreiappa Stadium due to the lack of proper accommodation.A vehicle queue more than 6 kilometres long on the road leading to Nagadeepa also indicates that Jaffna is experiencing an unprecedented boom in tourist arrivals.
