JVP candidate and former Central Provincial Council member Sarath Wijesinghe joined hands with the government today. Mr. Wijesinghe who is also the JVP’s Matale district deputy leader took this decision despite contesting the forthcoming provincial council election on the JVP ticket under the number 7.
